MAKING PROCESS: We handmade each Ceramic Christmas ornament at our home, so each one is just a little different. We wedge the clay, use the roller to give it form, place the design, and hand build the ornament. Then it is kept for drying for couple days before we clean the seams off and scrub them down. Once dried, we fire the ornament in our kiln up to 2000+ degree Fahrenheit. It stays in the kiln for about 24 hours before we can remove it after cooling down. Then we apply hand glazing. We paint 3 coats of glaze on the ornament and let them dry, then fire them in the kiln again up to 2300+ degree Fahrenheit. We remove it after 24 hours and apply gold luster design, and again place it in the kiln up to 1200+ degree Fahrenheit. After about 15 hours your ornament is ready, then it is carefully packed and boxed up, and then shipped on its way to your loving home!!
